Sur les traces de cet écrivain écossais tombé amoureux de la France ; une randonnée pédestre de 250 km à travers quatre régions géographiques reliant le sud du Massif Central aux Cévennes profondes. Il était parti le 22 septembre 1878 à pied avec l’ânesse Modestine quelques années avant d’écrire ses œuvres les plus connues, et son journal de route a permis de retracer son itinéraire.
On the footsteps of this Scottish writer who fell in love with France, we discover a long hiking of 250 km through four distinct geographic regions linking the southern Massif Central in the Cevennes mountain. On September 22, 1878 this young writer begins his walk with Modestine, a female donkey.
