Juan Bautista could have lived the life of a spoiled child. He had everything for it: fortune, intelligence and elegance. But he choose the contrary "the most difficult profession in the world". Matador, a terrible trade where most fail, victims of the bull who "puts each one in his place" or an environment that does not give gifts. This film portrays Juan Bautista, meeting the first circle, the ones who live with the maestro, hearing the comments of the actors of the bullfighting milieu and discovering the familiar scenery of a man anchored in his country: the Camargue. The film avoids the folklore and spectacular vision of the bullfight to focus on a personality in search of artistic perfection.
