Une jolie femme affolée vient chercher de l’aide, une nuit dans un commissariat de quartier. Son amant est mort chez elle. Son mari doit rentrer de voyage. L’honneur de la dame doit être sauvé. Le commissaire l’accompagne chez elle et ils s’aperçoivent que l’amant est bien vivant
