LE TAMPON DU CAPISTON
En 1900 un brave paysan un peu benêt, Isodore Cochu est surnommé « le tampon du capiston », c’est à dire l’ordonnance du Capitaine Reverchon. Ce dernier a une soeur redoutable qui se met en tête d’épouser Isidore amoureux de Mélanie la cuisinière qu’elle croit héritier d’une grosse fortune. Tout se terminera par trois mariages.
In 1900 in a small provincial town Isidore COCHU is named « Tampon du Capiston » , that is to say Captain Reverchon’s orderly. This latter has a fearsome sister, who wants to get married to Isidore ( in love with Mélanie the cook ) thinking he will inherit a huge fortune. Three marriages will take place…
