Billard à l'étage
C’est une petite station balnéaire du Nord de la France, blottie au pied d’immenses falaises blanches et ocres. La saison estivale passée, elle est rendue à ses rares habitants qui l’aiment ainsi, calme et déserte. Un jour un homme arrive…
Il se fait appeler Joseph, le saint du jour et ne semble s’intéresser qu’au billard, à l’étage .Un matin Ida disparaît… Joseph prétend alors que quelqu’un l’a poussée du haut des falaises
It’s a tiny ocean side resort in the north of France, pressed against immense cliffs of pale gold and white. The summer season now faded, the town is given back to its few inhabitants who like it that way, calm and deserted. One day, a man appears. He names himself Joseph, the saint of the day. He seems interested in nothing more than playing billiards upstairs. A community of regulars gravitate around the hotel-bar. One morning Ida disappears.. Joseph claims that someone has pushed her over the cliffs.
